la pompon and conan

One of the new groups on the rise is La PomPon (Power Of Music, Pride of New generation) they call themselves girls’ vocal and dance unit, regardless of the fact they have all the decorations of an idol group. On September 16th 2015 they will release their third single titled “Nazo/Yada! Yada! Yada! ~Sweet Teens ver.~”

“Nazo” has been selected as the 3rd opening theme for the anime Detective Conan series. “Nazo” is a song that was first performed by Miho Komatsu .Komatsu is a retired pop singer and songwriter who has recorded 26 singles and 11 albums, however she is well known to Detective Conan fans for having four songs selected for the “The Best of Detective Conan” soundtrack.

Komatsu`s version of “Nazo” sold over 300,000 copies in 1997. La PomPon`s version will become the theme song on September 5th.
Yada! Yada! Yada! ~Sweet Teens ver.~ was written by million-selling singer-songwriter Maki Ohguro .She is best known for the million selling song “Anata Dake Mitsumeteru” and for “Anything Goes” which was used as a theme song for Kamen Rider 000.

If this is your first time seeing this group, I suggest you check out this single as this is the fastest rising indie idol group in recent history .They made their debut in August 2014 and by January 2015 they had a major debut. The group is represented by Being, Inc, the company responsible for the legendary Japanese rock group B’z and singer Mai Kuraki.

The group shot to notice by becoming the talk of the 2014 Tokyo Idol Festival when at the time of performing they had only debut long enough to have made a grand total of 9 tweets on their official twitter account.

After their appearance on the 2014 TIF event they became labeled “overnight success” as festival goers became obsessed with the groups vocal and dance abilities that they had perfected over two years of daily training before debut.

This is truly a group that with continued good breaks will be candidates for the next “it factor” superstar group.
